Where did the name come from?
Because it’s my name and I design things! I also wanted to emphasise the personal touch I bring to all my work.
What do you offer?
Designs for small independent businesses – I focus mainly on brand identity and web design, as well as social media, brochure design, graphics, everything a brand needs!
How many people are in your team?
Just myself, but with lots of awesome collaborators for different projects too.
How long have you been open?
Coming up to 5 years as an independent freelancer, but I’ve been designing for over 15 years.
Are you from Marple?
I’m originally from the other side of Manchester, in Sale. But I’ve been here for 11 years now – the city centre was becoming a bit much and we wanted to escape to the hills a bit more!
What do you like about having your business in Marple/living in Marple?
Its location, it’s the best of both worlds. But I also really love the sense of community I’ve found – I see people I know every time I leave the house which is a lovely feeling.
Is there anything exciting going on at the moment?
I have a newsletter for my updates – and I also have a clothing brand called You Are The Sea with my own designs.
