Meet Marple 020: Peak Trails Personal Training

Part of the Meet Marple project.

Peak Trails Personal Training: Meet Emma, the personal trainer helping to keep Marple’s residents in-shape.

Emma from Peak Trails Personal Training

Name of business:

Peak Trails Personal Training

Where did the name come from?

Two reasons that go together – I run in the hills a lot around here, and we aim to help everyone hit peak fitness!

What do you offer?

Fitness and wellbeing – I do 1:1 sessions, gym visits and home visits, and I run circuit classes and pilates classes too.

How many people are in your team?

Just me!

How long have you been open?

I’ve been a personal trainer for over ten years now.  I also work as a florist and as a landscape gardener, I like to keep busy!

Are you from Marple?

Yep – lived here all my life.

What do you like about having your business in Marple/living in Marple?

I love the community – it’s such a friendly place.  I’ve been here forever so I’m familiar with it and have seen how it’s grown, too.  Everyone is so supportive and nice to each other, and we have independent businesses for everything.  And fitness wise I love that we live near the hills!

Is there anything exciting going on at the moment?

Pilates on a Monday and Circuits on a Tuesday – I offer taster classes for anyone who’d like to give it a go!
