Merseyday of the Dead, 25.10.2025

Stockport loves a community event – there’s been a few I’ve covered over the last couple of years. This year I was there for Merseyday of the Dead, taking place at Merseyway Shopping Centre the Saturday before Halloween.

Around Redrock they’d gone full Dia de los Muertos – there was a mariachi band, stilt walkers and sugar skulls everywhere you looked. The event was giving away Halloween treats to the guests lining up, and face painting was of course on offer.

And best of all – the event was all free! Another fantastic event in the town, and as a Stockport photographer – I can’t wait to see what’s next!
