I’m tempted to just start at the end. Norwood’s genius freekick to the youngster Jid Okeke on the touchline. Okeke’s PERFECT cross, bundled in by a combination of Andresson and Kyle Wootton. The crowd, including myself, celebrated Beno’s goal, but it was later attributed to this season’s top scorer Wootton. The result didn’t change though – a late, late winner saw County swap places with Huddersfield in the league table, rising up to 4th place. An amazing turn of events when it felt like this was the first good performance since about October!

The match kicked off at 12:30pm. A bit of a pain that can often produce a subdued atmosphere. But on a clear day in January it meant gorgeous light for photos! The low winter sun, no clouds – beautiful.

Perfect day, then. Stockport winning 1-0, beautiful light, and home by 3pm. Magic.
